SHRF is committed to achieving operational excellence by ensuring our processes are improved and optimized for the best user experience. That is why we are working on creating a new SHRF RMS for our funding competitions and grant management.
This new system goes beyond an upgrade. Once live, users of the SHRF RMS will find a modernized platform with improved data capture and a system that has incorporated your feedback to improve usability.
In order to transition to the new system, the current SHRF RMS will need some down time. This will allow us to migrate our current data from the old to the new system. As of September 14, you will not have access to the SHRF RMS, including your profile, previous applications or reports, however, these will all be migrated over to the new system.
Access to the new SHRF RMS will happen in stages.
Stage 1: October 1 – Those planning to apply to the Solutions Program will have access to start an eligibility check, update existing profiles and create new profiles for team members who don’t currently have one. There will be no access to previous applications or reports at this time.
Stage 2: December 1 – All users will be able to access their profile, past applications, reports and more. We will encourage all users to check out the new SHRF RMS and update their profile to ensure we have the most up to date information in our system.
During this planned down time, SHRF is still available to help! If you need access to something or have questions or concerns about your SHRF reports or extension requests, you can reach out to our Programs team at fundinginfo@shrf.ca.
Though our new system will be easy to use and intuitive to the application and grant management process, we will be excited to share new resources, such as How-To videos and user manuals, to make the transition to the new system as seamless as possible for our end users. Stay tuned as we continue to improve to meet the needs of our research community.
