LAUNCH + NETWORKING EVENT

SHRF is excited to host a strategic coming-together of researchers, knowledge-users, community organizations, healthcare providers and leaders to foster relationship building and collaborative research in the field of
Child and Youth Health. 

Event Host

SHRF is the provincial funding agency that funds, supports, and promotes the impact of health research that matters to Saskatchewan. SHRF also serves as a trusted and neutral convener between multiple stakeholder groups involved in the Saskatchewan health research ecosystem.

Solutions Focus Areas

SHRF's Solutions Program encompasses two research grants that support interdisciplinary teams of researchers working hand-in-hand with knowledge-users to address timely health needs in Saskatchewan. SHRF's 'Solutions Focus Areas' direct strategic funding to the areas of human health in need of timely, collaborative and impact-oriented approaches. SHRF is proud to announce 'Child and Youth Health' as a new Solutions Focus Area, beginning in the 2023-24 funding year.

Advanced Registration Required

While all researchers, knowledge-users, community organizations and those with lived experience in the fields of child and youth health are welcomed to attend this event, advanced registration is required.

Parking

SHRF is providing free on-site parking to CYH Event attendees parked in the visitor parking immediately East and West of the Atrium Building. Please check back for a map of designated parking areas. Note that vehicles parked outside of the designated paid areas will be subject to regular Innovation Place parking rates. 

Refreshments

Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be available during this event. 

Solutions Program Funding Resources

This event will include information on SHRF's 2023-24 Solutions Program, with an emphasis on building effective and interdisciplinary research teams. SHRF staff will also be on-site to answer questions about the program.

COVID-19 Precautions

Please note that masks are optional but welcomed at this event. Hand-sanitizer, sanitizing wipes and masks will be available on-site for all registrants to use at their discretion.
