Sharing and Using Health Research

Part of SHRF's mandate is to help share the knowledge borne of health research within the research and health care communities as well as with the public at large. To this end, the Foundation encourages researchers and research organizations to build knowledge transfer into all health research projects.

SHRF also invests in activities to disseminate and promote knowledge borne of health research. The Foundation also promotes the importance of Saskatchewan's health research enterprise in terms of:

• benefits to the health care of Saskatchewan people, partcularly where this province has an urgent health challenge to address or specific research strength to exploit.
• significant contributions to Saskatchewan's economy through high-quality jobs, supply opportunities, and infrastructure development.
• maintaining Saskatchewan role as a credible player on the national and international health research scene.
