 The Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF) funds the work of researchers, supports efforts that grow the province’s research enterprise, and promotes knowledge borne of health research.

This helps ensure Saskatchewan is an equal and respected partner in Canadian health research, on par with work done anywhere in the country.This vibrant environment helps our province’s research institutions attract the best and brightest and keep them in Saskatchewan. In turn, our young people are taught by these leading experts, and later find high-quality career opportunities within the province.

Health research also informs policy and product development, delivering benefits to Saskatchewan people and the economy as a whole.
