Recipients

This is the second annual knowledge sharing event showcasing research done by students in the Master’s of Physical Therapy (MPT) program. In attendance will be graduating MPT students, academic and clinical faculty, first and second year MPT students, and clinical professionals. The first day will feature two lectures by internationally renowned keynote speaker Dr. Carol Davis, Professor Emerita at the University of Miami. The first lecture is intended for health science faculty and discusses preparing students for professional roles in health care. Dr. Davis’ second lecture is on the topic of patient-practitioner interactions and will interest all attendees. On the second day, graduating students will present their research and Dr. Davis will make a keynote address entitled “Empathy and Transcendence”.
