All graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, residents, faculty, researchers, research staff, clinicians, government, administrators, survivors, and other stakeholders interested in cancer are invited to participate in this annual cancer research day on December 3.
The purpose of this event is to recognize and promote excellence in cancer research, to give updates on cancer research activities in Saskatchewan and elsewhere and to provide participants an opportunity to network.
A poster competition is open to all graduate students. Cash prizes, sponsored by the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, will be awarded to the top 3 poster presenters.
Keynote speaker is Mary McBride, a senior epidemiologist in Cancer Control Research, British Columbia Cancer Agency. Her research interests include childhood and young adult cancer issues, non-ionizing radiation as a cause of cancer, and cancer registries.

Everyone is welcome to also join the Connecting the Breast Cancer Community event that will take place at the Saskatoon Inn the following day. The session objective is to improve knowledge and understanding about the activities, resources, & services for breast health and breast cancer through presentations and discussion.
