This two-day event focuses on healing from violence and abuse. Hosted by RESOLVE (Research and Education for Solutions to Violence and Abuse), the annual research day features research and evaluation projects that address violence and suggest better ways to prevent and intervene to help victims. The event is aimed at academic researchers, community organizers, government policy makers and victims of abuse.

Presentations focus on physical and mental healing, abuse prevention programs, abuse in communities and families, and the implementation and evaluation of community based programs. An evening social kicks off the event and allows presenters and participants to get to know each other. The following day features morning and afternoon keynote speakers, as well as a variety of breakout sessions, each with its own general theme. This event highlights the many ways that individuals, organizations, policy makers and others make a difference in the social and physical health of communities, families and individuals affected by violence and abuse.
