Arthritis is one of the most common chronic diseases in Canada, particularly in Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia. It is estimated that 1,000 children in our province are afflicted with this painful and debilitating disease.
The Research Workshop and Future Directions Symposium are presented by the Canadian Alliance of Pediatric Rheumatology Investigators (CAPRI). It will bring together many of Canada’s leading research scientists in pediatric rheumatology and experts from a variety of other disciplines and partner agencies.
Participants will share information on the latest research projects and ensure effective harmonization among these efforts. They will also present research papers in progress as well as knowledge translation materials. Key goals include accelerating the rate at which research results are published and communicated to the public and building momentum for future research efforts.
