It is widely recognized within the health research community that when older adults remain active and engaged they report fewer health issues. In turn, they use health services less frequently. Active living, as defined by the World Health Organization, is a way of life in which social, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual components are valued and integrated into daily activities. However, one impediment for seniors attempting to access active living mechanisms is income. This conference will attempt to bridge the gap between income and access by promoting the advancement of research in this area.
