The International Biology Olympiad (IBO) is a scientific competition for some of the world’s most talented high school students. Saskatoon will be hosting IBO 2007 in venues at the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology from July 15-23, 2007. Held under the auspices of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), this is the first time in the history of the IBO that a North American country has won the honour to host. Participation in IBO 2007 will include students, educators and researchers from approximately 60 countries.
