The U of S College of Nursing presents its biennial Research Day, themed Research in Interprofessional Education, at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon. The event aims to expose undergraduate students to the possibilities for research in their careers, and to showcase faculty and graduate student research through paper and poster presentations. Program and registration is available at the College website.
Prominent on the agenda is the P-Cite (Patient Centred Interprofessional Team Experiences) initiative. P-Cite co-principal Investigators Sheila Achilles (General Manager for Primary Health, Saskatoon Health Region) and Liz Harrison (Associate Dean Physical Therapy and Interprofessional Education, College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan) are keynote speakers.
Presentations will describe interprofessional education projects under P-Cite. Posters will demonstrate a variety of general research activities in the College of Nursing.
Upper year classes have been cancelled for the day and students are expected to attend. Return transportation will be provided from the College’s Prince Albert and Regina sites.
