This exciting, innovative summer institute is set for August 14-17, 2006 at the University of Saskatchewan campus; its theme is “Building Community Capacity and Practical Strategies to Move Individuals and Communities to be ‘in motion:’ An application of theory, research and practice to increase physical activity for health benefits.” Likely to attract about 300 delegates, this institute will provide an opportunity for researchers to identify new collective, project ideas and will provide a stimulating environment for researchers and community professionals to exchange lessons learned and to advance further collaborations.
