This one-day workshop on June 15th, 2006 is intended to raise awareness within the Canadian biomedical community regarding the availability and potential of synchrotron-based techniques for cancer research. It includes techniques suitable for diagnostic (both in-vitro and histology), as well as therapy. This workshop targets basic scientists and clinicians with an interest in cancer research and is open to students, residents and faculty from the University of Saskatchewan and to interested community members. It features a panel of renowned local, national and international specialists.
