About Program

The Strategic Priorities Grant Program was intended to improve success rates in major national team or group grant competitions for Saskatchewan-based research proposals that fell within the priority areas of the Health Research Strategy. It had two components and provided financial support to Saskatchewan university faculty members for: (a) preparing full proposals of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary nature that would be submitted to a national team or group grant competition; and (b) supported graduate student involvement in the resulting national project, if successful.
