Recipients

This research will establish a better understanding of why cancer patients react differently to antitumor immune responses. Because some cancer patients do not respond well to immunotherapy, the research project will focus on the development of a new and novel immunotherapeutic approach in the treatment of cancer. This research will provide additional information on how that treatment could be enhanced. It will do this through the overexpression of a certain type of chemotherapy treatment that will counteract immune suppression and enhance in-vivo antitumor response.
