Clinical and Biomedical Aspects of Aging Research Group will study how an aging population can live with better mental and physical health having less pain, fewer surgeries and better end of life care. They will look at dietary, physical activity and psychosocial interventions. They focus will be the nervous and musculoskeletal systems, as many ailments of the elderly emanate from these two body systems. This grant brings together Saskatchewan investigators from clinical and biomedical research areas who generally have not been working together.
