Emergency contraception is used without prescription by thousands of women each month to decrease the probability of conception following unprotected intercourse. Exactly how it works in the body to prevent pregnancy is not known. Dr. Hanna, working with supervisor Dr. Pierson, aims to explore this relationship, with the goal of increasing effectiveness of emergency contraception
